My health insurance covered like six sessions of physical therapy after a rotator cuff injury last fall. It wasn't enough, but the few sessions I did get helped me a lot. They had this amazing thing, I think it was called e-stem or something like that, where they use electricity and it was so soothing. And they taught me some helpful stretches, which I now have to do on my own. It was a very good place, and I feel angry because my insurance refuses to cover more. I don't know why PT is seen as "optional" in health care plans because it is vital if you have a serious injury like mine. If it heals wrong it could become a lifelong debilitating problem, and these injuries are so common ... I hope that things change starting next year. After somehow hurting my shoulder ... in my sleep (I cannot for the life of me remember actually doing it), my doctor told me to start getting PT, and gave me a re feral to come into Advanced Physical Therapy for eight sessions. They have been a huge help, and my only dismay is that I cannot continue to come in since I can't afford to continue past what my insurance will cover. I will do my best though. It is a true shame that insurance companies act like this stuff is optional.

If you need rehabilitation services, then you should definitely check with Advance Physical Therapy. They are really professional in their job and they offer some great techniques and methods for you to build your muscular strength and make you walk again or get better. I have visited them for my father in law and he was able to recover from his aching muscles within a few weeks. They are really helpful and kind with the patients and the visitors too. My father had a slip disc operation and hence, we wanted him to undergo physical therapy. The costs were too high at the hospital and so, decided to try out the Advance Physical Therapy Center. This is a good place to come if you have problems with your muscles. I had an injury last year which never quite healed right, and they've been able to help me to relieve my pain and recover some of my movement. They have a lot of different services available. I have been to physical therapists in the past for other things, and they were helpful in teaching me about stretching. These people have done that and also more. They have a massage therapist on the premises, which has done me a world of good. Share Your Review
