I went back to work this year, and was pretty worried about what I’d do about getting someone to watch my little daughter, who is only a year old. I found out about TLC (Teaching Little Children) Daycare from Long Island Press, which awarded them “Best Daycare Center.” I was impressed with their nice website and the fact that they discussed their curriculum for children of different ages, their menu, and schedule openly. The staff page was very well organized, and provided information on each of the staff members, which children they worked with, and what their work and educational background was.

I was impressed enough with what I saw on the website that I took a tour. I met the staff members and I thought Monique and Donna were very sweet! They let me sit in during one of their daycare sessions so I could see what they did throughout the day, and so I could see the children and how well taken care of they were. I felt a lot more comfortable after that dropping off my daughter, knowing she was in good hands. I volunteer some time reading books to the older children at the daycare sometimes. TLC has met all my stringent requirements for finding a daycare, and I am so glad to know they’ll be able to help me out for years to come.
