Not my favorite place to go anymore. I used to think Starbucks was cool when I was a kid, but then I found a real coffee house and now I realize how lame Starbucks is.

This might sound weird, but I never came into a Starbucks until recently. It just never appealed to me. I like coffee, but I'm not a huge coffee drinker. I'm like a one-cup-a-week gal. It's sort of a special treat when I come around to coffee day. I was driving past Starbucks and thought I'd see what the big fuss is all about. So I came in and got a cup, and regretted it immediately. It's just not that smooth compared to Seattle's Best or Farmer Brothers coffee. I got a muffin to try and make up for it, which was more like a cupcake. I admit that I enjoyed the muffin immensely, but it was expensive. I just don't see myself coming back.

The popularity of Starbucks kind of escapes me. The coffee is just not that amazing, and if you order any sort of "dessert" beverage like a cappuccino, you get sugary sugary doom. So I don't really like their drinks much. What I do have to admit is tasty is their food. I really like their muffins. They really ARE like dessert though, packed again with lots of sugar, so I only ever get them as a treat and not as any sort of main meal.
