 Seatuck Cove House Reviews

Notice how many outstanding reviews this bed and breakfast has? You can bet there's a good reason for all that love. And having been there myself a good half dozen times now, I can only tell you that you have to experience it for yourself to really understand the praise. It's one of the coziest, most welcoming, wonderful places you will ever stay on Long Island. I live on LI, but sometimes I still feel the need to get away from the feeling of ordinary life ... work, taking care of the house, getting errands done, rush, rush, hurry, hurry ...

The Seatuck Cove House is a really magical place, and it's a place to escape the ordinary. I recommend you come during the off season. It's much less expensive, so you can stay more nights. But I do recommend you spend a little extra money getting one of the really nice suits that have a fireplace installed in them. It's terribly romantic. While I am by myself when I come here, I love the atmosphere. It really helps me clear my thoughts, which is why I make it a New Year's destination. Time to release my burdens and start anew.

If you're a tourist on LI, really immerse yourself in the beauty of this island and stay here. If you live on LI, get away from the bustle of everyday life and experience LI the way you would if you were visiting it. It really can rejuvenate you.

This is one of the most amazing little secrets on Long Island - then again, from the quantity of reviews they've amassed, I can tell they're no longer a secret! Still though, the place is so small that only so many people can be here at once, which keeps it quiet, secluded, and personal.

Staying here is expensive but it's a real treat - and the best way to do it is to come during the off-season. Not only will doing this save you hundreds of dollars (yay!), but it will also help you get away from the crowds! Not that Seatuck ever feels "crowded." But it certainly is more tranquil and intimate during the winter season. And don't worry, you won't freeze; there are fireplaces in the rooms! I love coming here with my girlfriend, but sometimes I also just come and stay by myself when I need to rest and recharge.

Well, there is not much to say about the Seatuck Cove House. It is a beautiful and picturesque bed and breakfast, right by the sea. It serves great breakfast, which you can enjoy at the porch gazing at the sea and clear sky. However, the rates are quite high, if you ask me. I mean, they could definitely be eligible to make a better offer for someone who is willing to stay for more than two weeks. Apart from the price, everything else was absolutely perfect and it gives you the chance to relax and get closer to nature.

We were looking for a nice and quiet bed and breakfast by the seaside, in order to spend some days away from all the traffic and the noise of the big city. Seatuck Cove House is an idyllic place, if you are in need of peace and relaxation. The sea was right by our feet, we could hear the waves splashing on the rocks and the seagulls flying in search of their dinner. The prices were a bit high and that was the only thing that actually prevented us from staying a little longer. However, all in all it was a nice place, where we could stay again and enjoy our time off. If you do not mind paying a bit extra for your relaxation, then the Seatuck Cove House is your perfect destination.

I really loved it here - the one star off is simply because ti's truly very expensive, and I really will be lucky if I can afford to come back here again. I thought it was expensive enough off season, can't imagine being able to stay there on season.

That said though, it's really great. It's a special place for any occasion where you want some tranquility and relaxation, either by yourself, with special friends, your significant other ... truly, you can't go wrong with the lovely seaside atmosphere and the nice accommodations.

My husband and I were celebrating a wonderful 10 years of marriage together. I wanted to make it special, something that the both of us could enjoy together. He has been amazing during our years together, and it was my time to show him.

Seatuck Cove was there to help me out, and they did it very well. The bed and breakfast was just a short drive from our house so we didn't have to waste time driving.

I was immediately impressed when I saw the building housing this bed and breakfast. Elegant, sophisticated, magnificent- a fine masterpiece, and I had yet to make it inside! The bed and breakfast sit in front of the water, adding more romance to an already special place.

We chose the Dune Road Suite for the weekend. It provided a fireplace and gorgeous views of the bay. A Jacuzzi was also inside of the room, a first experience for the both of us. A heated pool on the back porch was another first, and a great pleasure of the B&B. The two bedroom suite was very spacious and designed to keep love alive, just as it did!

Some would say friendly hospitality isn't something you get in New York, especially on the Island, but I beg to differ. Seatuck Cover is there to show you that hospitality is still alive and well, as every single person there went out of their way to make our stay special.

I could go on and on about this place forever. It made our 10 years together as special as it has been for us, and I hope to return again in the future.

This is not a cheap place to stay, in fact it is rather pricey. At anywhere from $100 a night to $400 a night depending on what time of the year you are there.

It is a beautiful bed and breakfast, and the view of the waterfront can't be beat. It's not for a casual vacation due to the pricing, but if your on your honeymoon, or another romantic weekend it would be perfect.

As if planning our wedding weren’t complicated enough, planning our honeymoon seemed like it was going to be a whole other complicated affair! But then my friend told me about Seatuck. Seatuck Cove House is a bed and breakfast which is set right up against the waterproof, and what a gorgeous building it is! Wide porches and charming grounds.

I’ll be honest—this is an expensive place. My friend paid $400 a night when she stayed here. At first I thought “no way,” but then I realized we were going to be there off season, and could stay for $225 a night! That was the price for the “Dune Road Suite,” which included a lovely, romantic stone fireplace. Our room had a view too. The Bay looked gorgeous every day, and it was amazing to wake up in such a relaxed, tranquil environment. Nearby there is wine tasting, golfing, theatre, and all kinds of entertainment! We also rented bikes and went riding outside to take in the sights and enjoy the fresh air. Such a lovely place for a honeymoon, romantic getaway, or even just some personal time. Consider it if you want to really get away from it all.
