It is always a pleasant experience to come here to get a hair cut. I haven't encountered such a skilled woman in a long time with a pair of scissors. I really love the work she does on me.

This has been a nice change from the Supercuts that I used to patron. I realize now I have been missing out on the personal service you get when you go with a smaller locally owned hairdresser and not a chain. Making the switch was a great decision.

I always wanted to get my hair dyed with natural dye, but I never found a salon that could do it until I went into Hairscapes. Sally dyed my hair with a combination of henna and indigo. It took a long time (she made me wait for like an hour before rinsing it off), but it was worth it. It looks really gorgeous. I never did it before (I think I said that already), and I was not prepared for the full effect. Not only does it change your hair color, but your hair is also conditioned. My whole life I had dull, flat hair, and after henna it looked all shiny and it had some actual body to it. I never had such a professional dye job before, and I'm sure that was as much thanks to Sally as it was to my choice to use an all-natural dye instead of the typical chemical stuff. I would do it again anytime!

My hair is really fine and dry, which makes it difficult to deal with. I usually get a whole song and dance when I go into a salon about how my hair is unhealthy and I need a thousand expensive (and evil) chemical products to fix it. I didn't get the whole song and dance here, which I appreciated. The hairdresser just cut my hair and did a good job and left it at that. It was great not getting the up-sell routine. Especially since nothing can make a difference with my hair. It will never stop being easily breakable and dry.

It's rare that I find a hairdresser I really like. Stacey is such a sweet lady, and she does an amazing job on my hair! My hair is challenging to deal with because it's super curly, but she seems to be an expert with curly hair. Maybe that shouldn't surprise me, being as she has curly hair too! She always is easy to chat with and we find a lot to talk about. She's really attentive to my instructions and what I want, so my hair always comes out more or less how I expect, sometimes even better. She's good at recommending changes to my ideas, and sometimes I take her suggestions and am glad I did. I've had my hair cut by a couple other people who work at Hairscapes and was really happy with the job they did too.
