My daughter joined the school band and needed a clarinet. They have a rent-to-own program here. Being as she only joined this year, I didn't want to splurge on something she wasn't going to be playing next year, so we decided to rent. So far she's been really enjoying herself, and I'm pretty sure in a few years she'll own the clarinet.

We also get her private lessons here. They've really helped her to get ahead of the rest of her section--she's already third chair and has her eye on second. I'm pretty sure next year they'll move her up to one of the top bands in the school. I'm glad she's found something she enjoys and that there's a great musical supply store in town.
