There's nothing I like better than country cooking! Country Kitchen is very tasty, despite the fact that of course, it's not a real country restaurant (we're obviously in the middle of one of the most urban areas of the country here). What a tasty place this is! I have to admit that it is really not of the gourmet variety or anything like that, but it's better than say, a Denny's, which is the same sort of restaurant. You know, sandwiches, shakes, breakfast all day, that kind of thing, but with a bit of a southern twist. I really enjoy their lunch specials. And I recommend the shakes, which are never watered down. Same thing as a Denny's or another breakfast chain, which also serves sandwiches, soups, etc. American food. It's the same as far as pricing goes, maybe a little more expensive. The choices are almost identical. Can't go wrong if you order from the burger menu or the breakfast menu. Shakes are pretty good. I've tried the vanilla shake, which is usually my gauge with restaurants and shake value. It tasted like vanilla, and not like nothing. So good job there. If you're a senior, you get a discount too. This is a chain restaurant, but not a bad one. Kind of like going to a Denny's. Similar prices and menu. I like that they serve breakfast at all hours. Their pancakes are really good, although a bit sinful. More like dessert than breakfast food. Burgers are good too, I like to order the Big Bad Bacon Burger. County Kitchen restaurant is a fine place to wine and dine and I find myself heading here to avail of discounts and coupons too, being a regular diner, I’m excessively happy with the services and thus, recommend them with all my heart. I come in here on Wednesdays for the senior discount. Their breakfast is outstanding. I highly recommend the omelettes. I also love their burgers though, and their shakes are top shelf. This is a very comfortable, cozy place with a pleasant atmosphere, which is why I'm a regular. Share Your Review
