Troy G. Rosasco Appointed Adjunct Professor at St. John’s University School of Law

Returns to Alma Mater to Teach Students about Workers’ Compensation Law and Social Security Disability Claims

Troy G. Rosasco, a Senior Partner at the law firm Turley, Redmond, Rosasco & Rosasco, LLP, has been appointed Adjunct Professor of Law at St. John’s University School of Law. Mr. Rosasco will teach a new course during the spring semester called “Protective Legislation for Workers,” which will cover Workers’ Compensation law and Social Security Disability claims.

Mr. Rosasco concentrates his practice on workers’ compensation, Social Security Disability, long-term disability , New York State and New York City Retirement Disability Pensions and 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund Claims. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, as well as the Eastern New York District of Federal District Court and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Among the organizations of which he is an active member are the New York Workers’ Compensation Alliance, National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives, the Injured Workers’ Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers’ Association. In addition, Mr. Rosasco performs pro bono legal services. He serves on the Nassau County Bar Association Attorney Grievance Committee, in which he reviews complaints against lawyers from clients and recommends any disciplinary measures.

This recent appointment is special to Mr. Rosasco, having graduated from St. John’s University Law School in 1989 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University. While at law school, he was President of the Labor & Employment Law Society.

“I am very proud to be appointed as Adjunct Professor at my alma mater,” Mr. Rosasco said. “This will give me the opportunity to share my knowledge of and experience in Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability claims to my students this coming semester. My hope is that they will show the same passion for this practice area that I have had throughout my legal career.”
