HUNTINGTON ARTS COUNCIL PRESENTS
“THE SELF” at the Main Street Petite Gallery in Huntington

Huntington, NY (April 18, 2012)  The Huntington Arts Council (HAC) announces the artists that have been selected into our 9th annual Juried Photography Exhibit juried by Andreas Rentsch.  The show's opening reception is Friday, May 11th from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. and the exhibit continues until June 25th. Gallery hours are Monday to Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. or by appointment.

Andreas Rentsch has exhibited nationally and internationally. He is the recipient of  two New York Foundation of the Arts Fellowships and currently is teaching on Long Island and New York. Art is a constant exploration of the self in the widest possible terms.  I was surprised and thrilled by the submissions. It is my belief that the photographers in this show have succeeded in this endeavor and might have learned something about themselves in the process” says Andreas Rentsch, juror. Visit the Main Street Petite Gallery located at Huntington Arts Council, 213 Main Street, Huntington, NY11743 for “The Self” photography exhibition, juried by Andreas Rentsch.
