NEFCU Helps Bring The “Beatles” Back To Long Island To Benefit The United Cerebral Palsy Association Of Nassau

John Mitty Tuesday, November 11, 2014

Westbury, NY - November 11, 2014 - NEFCU, a leading credit union on Long Island announced that once again it will serve as the title sponsor of the Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra’s 11th Annual Gala Benefit for the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County.

The musical evening will be held November 16 at 3:00 p.m. on the campus of LIU Post at its Tilles Center for Performing Arts in Brookville, NY.

For the event, the Pops will help turn back the clock when it shares the stage with “Strawberry Fields,” an accomplished Beatles tribute band that will play a number of the Fab Four’s most popular songs.  Also performing will be the UCPN’s own singing group, Creation, which will also deliver a few rollicking numbers.

As title sponsor of the event for the third straight year, NEFCU is offering a $25 ticket rebate to those interested in joining the local credit union as a member. This effort will encourage greater ticket sales, which in turn benefits the UCPN since every dollar raised from ticket sales is donated to the charity organization.

“We’re honored to take the lead once again for the Nassau Pops’ Gala Benefit to support this vital cause,” said Lauren Straub, senior vice president of sales management for NEFCU.  “In addition to being treated to some great music, our goal that night is to help raise as much money as we can for UCPN, and our $25 ticket rebate program will help us do so.  It should be a special night.”
