Local Business Leader Honored for His Dedication to Long Island Terminally Ill Children and Families

St. James, NY - June 9, 2014 - Darren Krantz, Founder and President of Race For Kids will be honored on June 19th by the Long Island Business News for going above and beyond in his dedication to the Long Island communities. The ceremony will take place at LIBN’s first Corporate Citizenship Awards breakfast. Krantz, owner of PRC, founded the program in the summer of 2012, to help benefit Angela’s House, a Long Island-based charity.
“My father always said that with success comes obligation,” said Krantz. “Victory Lane is not a road on a racetrack; it’s a world where no family in need goes without support.”

and recycling of consumer returned products with the firm founded by Arthur Krantz, Darren’s father. The PRC and stock car racing partnership is not so much about promoting the company but rather to raise awareness for Angela’s House, a place for medically frail and terminally ill children who require round the clock care.
Race For Kids is where the Krantz Motorsports Nascar Team runs races with their cars up and down the East coast U.S. in an effort to raise money for each lap the cars complete. Darren has since followed in his father's footsteps to keep "Race for Kids" speeding along. The monetary assistance Darren’s charity brings to Angela’s House helps build new homes for terminally ill children and their families to live, and receive the 24-hour care they so desperately need.
100% of the Race for Kids proceeds goes to Angela's House, a 501c3 Not-For-Profit who uses the money to provide ongoing supportive services to children with severe disabilities or illness, and their families to help improve their quality of life.
