Long Beach, NY (June 13, 2013) On Monday June 17th at 10am, Diane Baumann, founder and creator of the Baldwin based Kidz Entertainment Inc product line will be holding a special donation/reading event for Long Beach children from West School Elementary at Lindell Elementary School, 601 Lindell Blvd., Long Beach, NY to assist in bringing smiles and enjoyment to some of the children who are still being affected by the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy. The children from the West School Elementary are currently being schooled at the Lindell Elementary School location until the construction on West School Elementary is finished.
“I'm very glad that I could do something to help the children of the West Elementary School who have been displaced from their school since Hurricane Sandy. The children have been relocated to the Lindell School until the construction on their school is finished. My own family suffered severely from the hurricane and the entire first floor of our family home in Baldwin Harbor has been washed away and to this date, has not yet been repaired. Having firsthand knowledge of the devastation, I'm glad that I can donate these gifts to the children”.
In addition to holding a special circle time reading of her Show Dog, Show Cat and Pansie the Piglet picture books, Diane is donating 92 boys pieces of the first printing of her widely popular “Show Dog” products. The sets contain a picture book, CD, Sheet music, companion coloring book, and a sundry bag for boys to carry their things, and 81 girls’ pieces of the first printing of Show Dog. The girls sets contain a picture book, CD, Sheet music, companion coloring book and a muff/handbag/velvet Dalmatian – not unlike the trendy bags being worn by young girls across the world, such as Quvenzhané Wallis wore on the Red Carpet at the Oscars. There are also 7 girls that will receive the Show Cat picture book set as well since the company is currently sold out of the first printing of Show Dog. The Show Cat package has the hardcover picture book, CD, music sheet, companion coloring book, and a muff/handbag/plush white cat.
