Enjoy Restaurant Week in Smithtown, March 18 – 25

Those in Smithtown this week will have a chance to experience great dining offers with some of the best restaurants Long Island has to offer. For the entire week, from March 18 – 25, participating restaurants in the area are offering three-course dinners at a fixed price of $25 per person. The event is run by the Smithtown Chamber of Commerce and this year marks its 4^th year.

Head out for a great dinner any night of the week. On Saturdays, the fixed price menu is only good until 7pm, but some restaurants are extending the schedule at an additional cost. Some of the participating restaurants include:

H2O: A seafood and grill sushi bar/restaurant created by the people behind the great American Chophouse, Tellers Restaurant. Its fixed price menu includes a selection of salad of baby spinach, tortilla soup or spicy tuna roll for appetizers, local Saint Peter’s fish, grilled marinated skirt steak or seafood rigatoni ragu for entrees. There are also plenty of delicious desert choices, including lemon pound cake, hazelnut gateau or an ice cream sundae.
Maria’s: A Mexican and Latin cuisine restaurant will feature a fixed price menu of Cuban shredded beef topped with melted cheeses, shrimp sautéed in special seafood sauce, chicken tortilla soup, queso fresco and diced avocado, quesadilla stuffed with spicy shredded chicken and roasted corn or marinated shrimp served with mesculin greens for appetizers, cod filet with Spanish rice, grilled chicken breast, chili rubbed skirt steak, Cuban roast pork or shrimp, sea scallops, mahi mahi, clams, mussels, calamari and lump crab in a special seafood sauce with saffron rice for entrees, and cookie and nut crusted vanilla ice cream in a chocolate tortilla shell, pineapple flan topped with passion fruit whip crème and fresh berries or coconut rice pudding for dessert.
