Cactus Salons Give Free Makeovers to FSL Clients

Cactus Salons will give a free “Makeover”, including hair styling and coloring, to 60 clients of Family Service League. Please feel free to send your reporters and photographers to see this wonderful event, hear how this experience affects the participants, and photograph the staff as they work.

WHY:
For many Family Service League clients, going to a beauty salon for a new hair styling is a luxury few can afford. Some are in a daily struggle to get by. Some are training to re-enter the workforce. Some are coping with mental health issues. But all the participants will feel better about themselves, gain confidence, and have higher self-esteem after being treated to new haircuts, hairstyles, and hair coloring by the professional staff at Cactus Salons. Participants will also enjoy a complimentary dinner and be offered gently used fashion accessories to choose from.
